Partnerships
We partner with local nonprofits, neighborhood organizations, and other publications to elevate the voices of communities throughout Austin and shine a light on issues that aren’t covered by mainstream media. In its first partnership, AFP and historically Black Huston-Tillotson University have worked together since January 2024 to train new journalists of color to write for AFP and other news outlets.
If you’re interested in partnering with Austin Free Press, including providing ideas and commentary for news stories, please reach out to contact@austinfreepress.org.
